Social Justice in EAP Practice: Funding award winners

We are delighted to announce the winners of the 2021/22 round of funding activities by BALEAP members to benefit the wider community.

This year, we specifically invited applications for projects that engage with Social Justice in EAP. The following four projects were selected by the panel and will soon start their work:

 

Exploring Inclusive Teaching Practices of English for Academic Purposes (EAP) in Higher Education (HE)

Evaluating and designing a framework for integrating awareness of Social Justice into teaching and learning materials in an EAP curriculum

Improving online dictionary accessibility for people with visual impairments

Geraint Paul Rees, Universitat Rovira I Virgili (Spain)

International students’ affective engagement with and well-being during an EAP pre-sessional course

Ide Haghi, University of Glasgow

Brian Doonan, University of Glasgow
