Call for Nominations to Executive Committee

You may be aware that several of the voluntary roles on the BALEAP executive committee are open for election in 2017. Namely:
  • Treasurer
  • Research and Publications Officer
  • Information and Publicity Officer
  • BALEAP Accreditation Scheme Chair (assessors only)
  • Ordinary member x2

The purpose of this email is to open up the call for nominations to these roles. If you are interested in getting involved in the BALEAP executive committee, you will need to find one proposer and one seconder. You will then send an email to containing a 100-150 word statement of your background and interest in the specific role, along with the contact details of your proposer and seconder.
The deadline for nominations is midnight Sunday December 18th.
Elections will take place online in February and the announcement of results will be made in March. The role will begin at the AGM in April 2017 and is a three year commitment.
We are particularly interested in nominations for Ordinary members who have an interest  in specific areas e.g. technology or management/policy with a view to moving towards a Special Interest Group structure within BALEAP.
