We are looking for a creative, self-starting and enthusiastic University Teacher in English for Academic Purposes to help us enhance the student experience at Brookes at all levels from foundation to postgraduate.

We are recruiting for both full and part time appointments.

As University Teacher you will be:

Teaching on modules, workshops and in 1:1 and small groups.
Developing teaching materials, including the preparation of assignments and tests, modular handbooks and syllabi, as well as the moderation of assignments, and record-keeping
Leading and developing modules and ensuring processes are followed such as collection of feedback and writing of module reports, marking, standardising, and moderating
Participating fully in developing academic standards and reviewing new provision
Undertaking scholarly activity and contributing towards scholarly endeavours
Participating fully in and contributing to staff development activities including peer observation
Working with the senior lecturer in liaising with faculty in order to best meet the needs of the international student body.
You should have:

First Degree and Diploma level EFL teaching qualification (i.e. be TEFLQ or working towards it).
A Master’s degree.
Proven significant EAP teaching experience

Job Salary & Benefits

£31,302, rising annually to £34,189, pro rata if a fractional post
