Job Details

CELE has a successful English for Academic Purposes (EAP) programme providing Presessional and Insessional courses for students going on to Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes at the University of Nottingham and elsewhere. These roles support this programme by providing teaching, course co-ordination, curriculum development and quality assurance. The roles also contribute to other programmes offered by the School (e.g. commercial courses, UG and PG programmes).

Candidates must hold a first degree or equivalent, a relevant postgraduate qualification (e.g. MA, MSc, PhD or PGCE), preferably in EAP, ELT, EFL or Applied Linguistics or equivalent and/or a Cambridge DELTA or equivalent. Candidates should also have significant experience in teaching EAP to adults of different levels of proficiency and different nationalities.

Interviews will take place on 21st June 2019.

Two posts are available on a permanent basis. Two post are available on a two year fixed term basis.

Hours for the posts are full time.

Job Salary & Benefits

Salary
£30395 to £39609 per annum, depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.
