Job Details

The Centre for English Language Education (CELE) seeks to appoint a number of additional experienced English language professionals with experience of teaching English for Academic Purposes (EAP), preferably in UK Higher Education contexts. During summer 2020 a range of posts are available on our standard Academic English and Study Skills programme as well as on subject-specific programmes (for example Law, Business & Management and Engineering). Appointments will be made on standard University of Nottingham terms and conditions. Successful candidates will also benefit from:

free accommodation close to the University campus, with private en-suite rooms and access to kitchen facilities & dining area (shared with other tutors on the course)
a fully paid pre-course induction programme and tutor development sessions during the course
a supportive team of experienced Course Coordinators and colleagues
an EAP syllabus which focuses on developing academic literacies through an integrated approach to reading, writing, listening and speaking (in-house teaching materials are provided)
payment for pro rata holiday entitlement
Contracts range from 4 to 10 weeks of teaching plus induction during the period July to September 2020. PLEASE ENSURE YOU PROVIDE DETAILS OF AVAILABILITY WITH YOUR APPLICATION.

Hours for the posts are full time, however job share arrangements may be considered.

This position does not fulfil the UK Visas & Immigration sponsorship criteria for Tier 2, therefore we can only accept applications from candidates who already have the right to work in UK.

Job Salary & Benefits

£30,942 to £36,914 per annum (pro-rata if applicable) depending on skills and experience.
