|Birmingham, Aston University main campus
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic English for Academic Purposes Teaching Fellow who will contribute to the activities of the Centre for English Language and Communication at Aston (CELCA) through high quality, inspirational teaching, curriculum and materials design, and through co-ordinating some of the Centre’s provision. Based in the Education Team, CELCA plays a central role at the University by providing tuition and support in English language, academic skills and communication skills to Aston’s diverse student population. Experience of teaching UK students, working with international students on developing their employability skills or delivering CPD to university staff will be an advantage. You will value team work but will also be adept at working independently at your own initiative. You will be pro-active, adaptable and comfortable managing your workload through prioritising. You will have an excellent standard of written and spoken English.
The successful candidate will be required to be present on campus for the main part of their working week, but will also benefit from the University’s dynamic working policy.
