The UCL Centre for Languages & International Education (CLIE) is seeking to recruit a qualified and experienced Senior EAP Digital Learning Developer to work in the Academic Communication Centre (ACC).
The post-holder will have expertise and experience in supporting students’ academic communication development as well as excellent knowledge of teaching and learning in higher education and the associated pedagogies.
They will also have significant experience in planning, developing, testing, and evaluating digital learning approaches and materials/resources that are engaging and effective. The post-holder will need to have an understanding of technologies relevant to learning at UCL. They will take a lead role in developing and coordinating the ACC’s online provision to support students across UCL with their academic communication
The post-holder will also be involved in teaching up to 100 hours on ACC courses.
Applicants will hold a postgraduate degree, preferably in an EAP/academic literacies-related subject area, and will also possess a relevant teaching qualification (DELTA level or equivalent).
They will have substantial experience of leading the learning design of online and blended courses and resources within a Higher Education environment and will be able to working collaboratively with academic and teaching staff to develop and evaluate digital resources. They will have wide ranging and relevant teaching experience and possess the necessary organisational and interpersonal skills to work successfully in a dynamic multicultural environment and to liaise effectively within the department.
£45,610 – £53,757 per annum
