Applications are invited for experienced and qualified (TEFLQ) EAP tutors to teach on the following courses at a specialist art and design university:
Presessional 9 week course: 1 July – 30 August (paid induction 26-28 June)
The main duties will include the teaching of English for Academic Purposes at a range of levels to students in an engaging and communicative manner using in-house materials. Applicants should be able to manage the administrative workload including, but not only, completing registers, records of work and tutorial records. Tutors will be involved in administering and marking the final exams. Standardisation training will be provided.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
TEFLQ (DELTA or equivalent)
EAP experience
Ability to manage the workload of intensive EAP courses
£50.52 per teaching hour
Paid induction
Teacher Development sessions
A DBS check, paid for by University of the Arts, London will be required upon appointment.
