Pre-sessional English for Academic Purposes Tutors are required for Loughborough University Pre-sessional Courses:

Pre-sessional Course C
Monday 29 June – Friday 18 September 2020
Teacher induction – Monday 29 June – Thursday 02 July. Teaching commences Friday 03 July.

Pre-sessional Course D
Monday 03 August – Friday 18 September 2020
Teacher induction – Monday 03 – Thursday 06 August. Teaching commences Friday 07 August.

Tutors must be available for the full duration of the course.

You should be a graduate with a CELTA or equivalent, ideally hold a DELTA or equivalent and / or relevant MA/MSc, have significant experience teaching English language to adult learners, have an understanding of EAP and possess excellent IT skills. Experience of teaching EAP year round or on a pre-sessional programme would be an advantage. You must be fluent in English both written and oral and must be able to provide effective written and oral feedback to students.

Accommodation is located on campus in Butler Court (each ‘flat’ exclusively for pre-sessional tutors) at the following subsidised rates: ◦PS Course C from Sunday 28 June – Saturday 19 September 2020 – GBP 745
◦PS Course D from Sunday 02 August – Saturday 19 September 2020 – GBP 430

Job Salary & Benefits

Salary will be on Management and Specialist, Grade 6, GBP 34,804 to GBP 40,322 per annum, at a starting salary to be confirmed on offer of appointment.
