Tutors are required for EAP teaching on two Pre-sessional Courses.
Dates (inclusive of tutor induction)
10 week programme: 15th June – 4th September 2017
5-week programme: 20th July – 4th September 2017
Job Details: Tutors will be required to work a 35-hour week teaching approximately 14 hours per week at our city-centre All Saints campus. Classes cover the four skills alongside academic language input. Tutors will be expected to give regular spoken and written feedback to students, conduct and mark assessments, and support students with their Research Project. Tutors will attend regular meetings, as well as having the opportunity to share best practice. Both programmes will include a 4-day tutor induction
Essential Requirements:
first degree
a recognised ELT qualification (CELTA or Trinity Cert TESOL)
relevant teaching experience
native or near-native command of spoken and written English.
Desirable:
DELTA or Trinity Dip TESOL
a masters in TESOL or related area
experience of teaching on a university Pre-sessional programme
knowledge of technology in EAP teaching.
£774.20/week (gross) plus 12.7% holiday pay
