Job Details

A suitably qualified and experienced subject tutor is required for this part-time teaching role at the University of Strathclyde International Study Centre.
The successful candidate will have an interest in all areas of English language teaching and be able to contribute to teaching and learning on preparatory programmes. Experience of teaching on previous Pre-Sessional and/or other EAP preparatory programmes would be an advantage.
You will have a first degree in a relevant subject area (or equivalent experience) together with TEFLQ status as recognised by the British Council (e.g. DELTA or equivalent or CELTA + relevant MA) and/or significant relevant teaching experience.
Good IT skills are required and experience of working in an HE environment is preferred.
It is essential that you have good interpersonal skills, and the ability to work well within a team.
Hours may vary from 5-20 hours per week. The contract is casual with a competitive hourly rate of pay.
