This post represents an exciting opportunity for a language teaching professional to join Keele University’s Language Centre. The Language Centre is a focal point for cultural and linguistic diversity at Keele and the wide variety of modules we provide allows students to develop their skills across a range of languages. In addition, we offer modules in Cultural Studies and English Language Teacher Training.

Applications are welcome from high quality language teaching professionals who can contribute primarily to the diverse and well-established English Language programme with a specific emphasis on delivering English for Specific Academic Purposes, as well as be able to assist with the delivery of the Language Centre’s German, French or Italian modules. The successful post-holder will be expected to contribute to the full range of the Language Centre’s in-sessional English for Specific Academic Purposes and Foundation Year provision, as well as having input into our Transnational Education projects.

Candidates must have extensive experience in teaching English for Specific Academic Purposes to international students, pre-sessional EAP teaching and in developing materials for classroom delivery and language testing. Only applicants holding a DTEFLA, LTCL, PGCE (ESOL), or relevant MA (with TEFLQ status) will be considered.

Starting Salary: £39,347 per annum
