If so, we have an exciting opportunity to work in a team within the QAHE Pathway College embedded within Northumbria University. The Pathway College is focused on delivering a high-quality student experience to achieve academic success and to help realise this aim we are seeking a passionate EAP Lecturer to join us.
A little more about the role:
As a lecturer, you will contribute to face to face teaching. Students study EAP modules alongside academic skills and subject specific modules to help prepare them to join undergraduate programmes on campus. If empowering each student to reach their potential appeals to you…. apply today!
What you’ll get up to:
Plan, prepare and deliver learning across the programmes delivered at the Pathway College. Provide academic and pastoral support to students, responding promptly to all queries and being available during working hours. Complete administration tasks when required including registers, student feedback, progress monitoring, sponsor reports, etc.
What you’ll bring to the team:
It is essential that you have undergraduate qualification in a related subject and ideally you would have worked with international students at level 3 (AQA) and have a strong interest in the development and transition of learners into level 4. Candidates who teach on level 3 will need to be proficient in IELTS (up to level 9) and English for Academic Purposes.

QA Higher Education works in partnership with Northumbria University to manage and deliver an International Foundation Programme (IFP), an International Year One in Business and Pre Masters-Programmes in Business, Engineering and Computing. Successful completion of the IFP programmes allows entry onto a range of undergraduate programmes at the University. The International Year One allows entry into level 5. Pre Masters into a range of level 7 programmes.
