The University of Glasgow is seeking to appoint a Lecturer in English for Academic Purposes (EAP) (LTS track).

LTS posts focus on the design and delivery of learning and teaching alongside scholarship (i.e. outputs and other work that relates to the study and practice of learning and teaching within a Higher Education setting).

The post will support Pre- and In-sessional teaching in EAP, where the School continues to see significant growth in demand.

We are looking to appoint an able and enthusiastic colleague who can design, lead, and deliver both general and discipline-specific EAP courses to undergraduate and postgraduate students across the University. The post-holder may also be required to contribute to TESOL and TEAP provision, including dissertation supervision.
Candidates must have a PhD or Masters in TESOL (or related discipline) plus an entry-level teaching certificate; or a first degree plus postgraduate diploma in TESOL (or related discipline). Experience in teaching EAP, preferably in the UK higher education system, is essential

This post is full time (35 hours per week) and is offered on an open-ended basis.

Job Salary & Benefits

Salary, Grade 7, £38,474 – £43,155 per annum
