This is a sixteen month fixed term contract, providing cover for the substantive In-sessional English (ISE) Coordinator, who is taking an extended career break. The orientation of the role will be towards coordination until at least summer 2023 and will pivot to more teaching and development work thereafter.
Reporting to and supporting the the ISE Senior Academic Lead, the ISE coordinator will work with colleagues within the English Language Centre (ELC) and within faculty and Professional Services to plan, manage and support the delivery of all strands of ISE provision offered by the ELC.
The role-holder will provide excellent administrative support to the teaching team, will develop, communicate and maintain processes which allow the effective and efficient delivery of teaching across this area and will be able to lead on the best application of IT solutions.
In addition, the role-holder will contribute to teaching across the range of ELC courses up to maximum of 0.3 FTE.
The role-holder will deputise for the ISE Senior Academic Lead as appropriate.
Salary: £35,327 – £40,928 (Grade 7)
