Essential requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree
• Cambridge CELTA/Trinity Cert. TESOL or equivalent
• Master’s degree in TESOL/ English Language Teaching or Linguistics / Applied Linguistics or Cambridge DELTA/Trinity Dip.TESOL
• Minimum 5 years relevant classroom teaching experience post-certificate EFL teaching
• Native or near-native competency in English
• Hold the right to work in Saudi Arabia
Main duties:
• Teaching up to 6 hours a week
• Delivering well-developed lessons which motivate and inspire students
• Developing materials and resources to suit students’ needs. This will sometimes involve liaising with departmental subject specialists who teach their programmes through English and acting on feedback from lecturers and students on the effectiveness of the language support
• Adapting instructions to accommodate all students’ learning styles with an appreciation for learning styles and differences
• Monitoring progress and providing regular feedback to help manage students’ performance throughout the course
• Administering a range of formative and summative assessments as appropriate
• Managing relationships with students, providing academic advice including individual learning plans
• Utilising learning spaces and tools effectively
• Using technology during lessons when required
Our hourly rate is 180 SAR gross.
