We are looking for a new Head of Learning Enhancement, at Middlesex University.
The Learning Enhancement Team (LET) is a team of specialists teaching the use of language to help students communicate effectively in academic contexts, as well as maths, statistics and numeracy enabling students to succeed at university and beyond.
We are looking for a dynamic leader to lead and manage the LET and ensure a coordinated and integrated approach to the delivery of services, closely allied to the needs of Faculties, but always striving to be innovative and exceed student expectations.
You will have considerable experience of designing and delivering teaching and support for either academic writing and language or maths, statistics and numeracy. You will be familiar with the key issues and best practice in the sector. You will also have a track record of innovation in teaching and learning as well as the drive and enthusiasm to address major challenges and sustain a strong team culture that engages and motivates staff.
As a member of the management team within Library & Student Support you will collaborate with other managers providing academic, wellbeing and general support to ensure that support is integrated, holistic and student focused.
Starting Salary: £53,395 per annum
