Regent’s University London is looking for an external examiner in English for Academic Purposes from August 2018.
Candidates should:
• have extensive and recent experience of teaching and examining at undergraduate and postgraduate level (levels 5, 6 and 7)
• have experience of designing assessments tasks in the subject area
• have experience of operating assessment procedures and examinations
• be aware of current developments in the design and delivery of curricula in the subject area
• be actively engaged in the enhancement of the student learning experience
• not hold more than two external examiner appointments for taught programmes/ modules at the same time
• not have worked or studied at Regent’s University London in the last five years
• ideally have previous experience as external examiners, though this is not essential
We cannot make nominations where this would lead to a reciprocal external examining arrangement between Regent’s University London and another institution in the same subject area. Appointments are for 4 years.
