Department of Student Services. We are seeking to appoint an English for Academic Purposes Tutor to provide academic literacy, English language and study skills support for home and international students from a diverse range of educational, linguistic and cultural backgrounds.
Management and Specialist Grade 6 from £29,301 to £38,183 per annum
You should be a graduate with a CELTA or equivalent, ideally hold a DELTA or equivalent and / or relevant MA/MSc, and have experience in teaching English for academic purposes / study skills within a HE context. Experience of teaching home students would be an advantage but candidates wishing to extend their experience in this area will be considered. You must be fluent in English, both written and oral, be able to provide effective feedback to students and have strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
