We wish to appoint 5 EAP tutors on the following fixed term contracts:
1 x Full-Time Tutor on a 3 month Fixed Term Contract
1 x Full-Time Tutor on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract
1 x 0.6 FTE Tutor on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract
2 x 0.8 FTE Tutor on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract
The EAP tutors will be required to teach across the full range of EAP programmes for existing and prospective students of the University. You are likely to have a background in teaching on a variety of EAP programmes and to have experience in original EAP material creation in a variety of media. We are particularly interested in hearing from tutors with a background in teaching on programmes which prepare students for entry into science-based and technology degrees.
You will be educated to a minimum of master’s level, preferably in the area of TESOL/Applied Linguistics (we will consider those currently undertaking a master’s) and will hold a DELTA/Trinity TESOL diploma (or equivalent), either completed or near completion.
Reporting to a programme coordinator, you will be based at the ELC (Strand Campus). However, like all members of the Centre, you may be asked to work on any of the King’s campuses.
Salary Details: £32,958 to £39,324 per annum
Allowances: £2,923 London Weighting Allowance per annum
