Working hours: eight (8) working hours (from 7 AM to 3 PM, or 8 AM to 4PM), Sunday to Thursday
Essential requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree
• Cambridge CELTA/Trinity Cert. TESOL or equivalent
• Master’s degree in TESOL/ English Language Teaching or Linguistics / Applied Linguistics
• Minimum 7 years relevant classroom teaching experience post-certificate EFL teaching
• Experience teaching Academic English and English for Specific Purposes
• Native or near-native competency in English
Desirable
• Cambridge DELTA/Trinity Dip.TESOL
• EFL teaching experience in Saudi Arabia
• Hold the right to work in Saudi Arabia
Main duties:
• Teaching up to 25 hours a week
• Planning, preparing and delivering well-developed lessons which motivate and inspire students
• Developing materials and resources to suit students’ needs. This will sometimes involve liaising with departmental subject specialists who teach their programmes through English and acting on feedback from lecturers and students on the effectiveness of the language support
• Adapting instructions to accommodate all students’ learning styles with an appreciation for learning styles and differences
• Monitoring progress and providing regular feedback to help manage students’ performance throughout the course
• Designing, administering and evaluating a range of formative and summative assessments as appropriate
• Contributing to the development, evaluation, and improvement of the courses and materials
• Managing relationships with students, providing academic advice including individual learning plans
• Utilising learning spaces and tools effectively
• Using technology during lessons when required
• Participating in staff meetings and in workshops and professional development programmes
• Adhering to all university standards and procedures
Holidays: Paid annual leave of thirty (30) days for every year of continued service plus full-paid leave on National Day, Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha
Salary: 16,000 – 19,000 SAR per month depending on qualifications and experience. This includes an accommodation allowance.

Probationary period: 90 days
