NCUK is recruiting an experienced academic to develop a new EAP syllabus, teaching materials and exemplar assessments ahead of the upcoming 2020/2021 academic year.

As a Syllabus and Assessment Developer, you will support the current EAP review to develop an updated syllabus, teaching materials and exemplar assessments (with mark schemes) for a module in EAP equivalent to an entry point of 5.0 IELTS level. You will be excellent at delivering to deadlines, experienced in teaching, writing assessments and examining students in the subject at this level (bachelor’s and master’s) and hold a teaching qualification.

The Syllabus Developer supports the review of the current EAP programme and writes the syllabus, corresponding teaching materials, and exemplar assessments.

It is preferable for the EAP Syllabus Developer to be based in the UK as they will be required to attend meetings or workshop sessions in NCUK’s Manchester office. You will work closely with the Product team and the EAP Principal Assessor to ensure the work produced aligns with NCUK’s ethos and values.
