The Language Academy@UCLan invites applications from qualified and experienced EAP Tutors to work on the following pre-sessional programmes in the summer of 2016:
1) 10-week Pre-sessional EAP Programme (4 July – 9 September 2016)
+ 3 day paid Induction (29 June -1 July)
2) 6-week Pre-sessional EAP Programme (1 August – 9 September 2016)
+ 3 day paid Induction (27-29 July)
The post is full time and involves a maximum of 21 hours a week contact time, spread over the full week. In addition to teaching and preparing sessions, tutors will carry out marking and assessment, monitor students’ progress and provide feedback and pastoral support. Tutors will also be expected to attend weekly meetings.
Qualifications: Applicants should have a first degree, substantial EAP experience, preferably in UK Higher Education institutions, and hold relevant teaching qualifications: DELTA or equivalent, or CELTA / Cert TESOL and MA TESOL /Applied Linguistics or equivalent.
Self-catering accommodation on campus can be arranged if required.

Salary: £31,656-£33,574 pro rata + 12.07% holiday pay, paid at the end of the contract
