The USW Pathway College is a joint venture between QA Higher Education and the University of South Wales (USW) based on USW’s Treforest Campus in Pontypridd.
Our first year of operation, in academic year 2021/22, saw 60 international students pass through both our International Foundation Programme (IFP) and International Year – Business (IY1) across both the October and January intakes. In 2022/23, we have grown to 105 students across our programmes and are forecasted to grow further still in 23/24.
This rapid growth has created a number of on campus face to face opportunities to join an ever-expanding team.

Currently, we are looking for:
EAP Lecturers – Hourly contract
Teaching EAP and possibly Humanities to IFP students, and possibly EAP/Study Skills to IY1 students.
This role is a face to face on campus role.
The above role would support EAP teaching in the Pathway College where needed and ideally to be cover when necessary.
Immediate start available.
Applications from candidates with both EAP and Business teaching experience would be especially welcomed.
Hourly rates: £50 per taught hour (inc. planning, regular marking, and holiday pay), £15 per hour admin rate (attending meetings or online training), £9 per paper for marking.
