The University of St Andrews has an ambitious international strategy and English Language Teaching (ELT) is an essential component in the delivery of its aims. Established in 1989, ELT is a dynamic, self-financing and profit-generating department of the University that engages in a variety of ways with the recruitment, teaching and learning of international students who use English as an additional language.
The University now seeks to appoint a new Director of ELT. This role is for a senior leader with both academic and business credentials, including demonstrable expertise in English language teaching at university level, significant international experience, high professional standards and a track record of successful income generation.
