The University of Northampton is seeking to appoint a number of experienced EAP teachers to contribute to the delivery of its summer 2017 Pre-Sessional English programme. Applicants must have a first degree and a CELTA (or equivalent). A DELTA (or equivalent), TEAP qualification and/or a Master’s degree in a cognate subject (e.g. TESOL, Applied Linguistics) is highly desirable.
The pre-sessional provision at the University of Northampton has been designed to reflect innovative practice in EAP teaching and assessment.
Teachers will be involved in all aspects of Pre-Sessional provision (including the planning and delivery of classes, student feedback and support) and will be expected to teach 20 hours per week and attend weekly staff meetings and development sessions.
All Associate Lecturers take part in a formal observation which aims to open up a dialogue about TEAP practice and development.

31 July 2017 – 8 Sept 2017 (6 weeks)
Note: staff induction (paid separately) begins on 26 July 2017
14 August 2017 – 8 August 2017 (4 weeks)
Subsidised accommodation will be considered for those who need it upon request.
Dependent on student numbers there may be the opportunity for further work in the autumn term.
