We are looking for one or two EAP tutors to teach on our pre-sessional English Language programme. Induction begins Tuesday 23rd July. Teaching starts on Monday 29th July and ends with assessment week on Friday 6th September, 2019.
Applicants should be EFL qualified to Diploma level (or equivalent) with a first degree. You will need to have experience of teaching EAP to university level students.
You will be required to teach between 10-18 hours per week and you will need to be available for the entire duration of the course.
We will be able to give you an indication of the number of hours you will be employed per week during induction but it is likely to be between 10-18 hours.
The rate of pay starts at £51.61 per hour of teaching. This rate includes:
• Teaching
• Preparation and marking time,
• Assessment, marking and moderation meetings, which will take place from 2nd-6th September 2019
• Pastoral guidance, which will normally account for 2 hours per week
• Attendance at weekly meetings
