We are looking for two Teaching Fellows in English for Academic Purposes (EAP) to work within our English Language Education (ELE) unit at the Centre for Open Learning (COL). We are seeking to fill two full-time posts, one open-ended and one fixed-term post to cover maternity leave.

The successful applicant will be a dedicated EAP practitioner with demonstrable awareness of current thinking in the field of EAP in relation to classroom practice, course design and assessment. You will bring substantial experience in teaching EAP in global Higher Education contexts, a relevant postgraduate qualification, and a practical teaching qualification. We are particularly keen to hear from candidates with an interest in EAP for STEM subjects.
The post involves teaching on a range of EAP courses as well as operational management of specified courses, potentially in collaboration with Schools, working with an engaged community of EAP practitioners and an experienced professional services team. As well as rewarding, interesting work, you will have excellent opportunities for CPD and scholarship.
