The USW Pathway College is a joint venture between QA Higher Education and the University of South Wales (USW) based on USW’s Treforest Campus in Pontypridd.
Our first year of operation, in academic year 2021/22, saw 60 international students pass through both our International Foundation Programme (IFP) and International Year – Business (IY1) across both the October and January intakes. In 2022/23, we are forecasted to double our student numbers.
This rapid growth has created a number of new opportunities to join an ever-expanding team.

Currently, we are looking for:
2 x EAP Lecturers (FTC) – Full Time Fixed Term until 31st July 2023
Teaching EAP and possibly Humanities to IFP students, and possibly EAP/Study Skills to IY1 students.
1 x EAP Lecturer (ZHC) – Hourly contract
Teaching EAP and possibly Humanities to IFP students, and possibly EAP/Study Skills to IY1 students.
1 x Senior Lecturer in Business (FTC) – Full Time Fixed Term until 31st August 2023.
Leading on the management of our small IY1 programme (currently 14 students), as well as teaching Level 3 Business to IFP students, and Level 4 Business to IY1 students. EAP teaching experience would be an advantage.
1 or 2 x Business Lecturer (ZHC) – Hourly contract
Teaching Level 3 Business to IFP students, and Level 4 Business to IY1 students. EAP teaching experience would be an advantage.
The above role would teach our incoming January students – Students’ Induction Week begins w/c 16th January 2023, and teaching begins w/c 23rd January 2023.
EAP Lecturers: £34,000-£36,000
Senior Lecturer in Business: £36,000 – £38,000
Hourly rates: £50 per taught hour (inc. planning, regular marking, and holiday pay), £15 per hour admin rate (attending meetings or online training).
