Applications are invited for experienced and qualified (TEFLQ) EAP tutors to teach on the following course at a specialist art and design university.
Exam Preparation Intensive Course
The main duties will include the teaching of English for Academic Purposes to students studying for an internal progress test in an engaging and communicative manner. Applicants should be able to manage the administrative workload including, but not only, completing registers, records of work and tutorial records. Tutors will be involved in administering and marking the final exams. Training for standardising the exams will be provided. Please see below for teaching experience requirements.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
DELTA or equivalent (CELTA only will not be considered)
Exam preparation experience
EAP experience
Ability to manage the workload of intensive EAP courses
3 possible start dates: 29th July, 5th August, 12th August
Teaching rate: £50.52 (£41.61 + £8.91 holiday pay)
Non-teaching rate: £33.83 (£27.87 + £5.96 holiday pay)
Successful candidate/s will be DBS checked prior to appointment. Any offer of employment is subject to satisfactory references being received.
