Tutors will be required to work a 35-hour week teaching approximately 15 hours per week at our city-centre All Saints campus. Classes cover English for Academic Purposes, critical thinking and academic skills development. Tutors will be expected to give regular spoken and written feedback to students on their progress, conduct and mark assessments, and support students with their Research Project.
Tutors will attend regular meetings, as well as participating in moderation, observations and staff development sessions. The programme will include a 4-day tutor induction.
Contract dates
Tutor induction: 19th – 24th July
Course dates: 25th July – 31st August
Assessment period: 3rd-7th September
5-week course: £4599.84 (gross), inclusive of holiday pay at 12%.
This equates to £621.60 per week, based on a 35-hour working week.
