The University of Northampton is seeking to appoint a number of experienced EAP teachers to contribute to the delivery of its summer 2018 Pre-Sessional English programme. Applicants must have a first degree and a CELTA (or equivalent). A DELTA (or equivalent), TEAP qualification and/or a Master’s degree in a cognate subject (e.g. TESOL, Applied Linguistics) is highly desirable.
The pre-sessional at the University of Northampton has been designed to reflect innovative practice in EAP teaching and assessment.
Teachers will be involved in all aspects of Pre-Sessional provision (including the planning and delivery of classes, student feedback and support) and will be expected to teach 20 hours per week and attend weekly staff meetings and development sessions.
Associate Lecturers are just as important to us as our students, as such all Associate Lecturers take part in a formal observation which aims to open up a dialogue about TEAP practice and development.

You will be expected to remain in the post until the 11/12 September in order top complete marking and moderation.
Subsidised accommodation will be considered and discussed further at interview.
Dependent on student numbers there may be the opportunity for further work in the autumn term.
