Job Details

Applications are invited for a part-time Teaching Fellow position in English for Academic Purposes (EAP) within English Language Education (ELE) at the Centre for Open Learning (COL). The post involves teaching on a range of EAP courses and coordination and operational management for designated specified courses provided by ELE applying rigorous academic standards and maintaining a high level of service to all students. The successful applicant will have substantial experience in teaching EAP in Higher Education contexts, a postgraduate qualification in language teaching or applied linguistics as well as a practical teaching qualification

Job Salary & Benefits

This is a fixed-term (until 31 December 2019), part-time post of 17.5 hours per week with an annual salary of £32,548 to £38,833 per annum, which will be pro-rated accordingly. This role is grade UE07 and therefore the post holder is automatically included in membership of the Universities Superannuation Scheme (USS), subject to the USS membership criteria, unless they indicate that they choose not to join the Scheme.
