Job Details

The UCL Centre for Languages & International Education (CLIE) is seeking to recruit a qualified and experienced EAP practitioner to take on the role of Senior EAP Co-ordinator, with specific responsibility for the Pre-sessional Courses programme. The post holder will be involved in all aspects of course planning, course delivery and assessment and will be responsible for a team of EAP teachers. The post holder will work closely with the CLIE Director, other Senior EAP Co-ordinators and CLIE colleagues throughout the year, and be involved in the review and development of the full portfolio of EAP courses offered by the Centre.

Key Requirements
The post holder will hold an undergraduate degree (in any subject) and will also hold a recognised teaching qualification (DELTA level or equivalent) along with a graduate degree qualification, preferably in an EAP-related subject area. Relevant post-DELTA EAP teaching experience in an HE environment is essential for this post. The post holder will have the necessary organisational and interpersonal skills to work successfully in a dynamic multicultural environment and to liaise effectively with key UCL departments regarding student progression.

Job Salary & Benefits

Salary (inclusive of London allowance) is £42,304 – £49,904 per annum
