Well-qualified and experienced EAP teachers are required for the Centre for Academic English’s 6-week Pre-sessional courses. These courses are uniquely STEM-focused (Science, Technology, Engineering, Medicine) and largely delivered through Office 365 applications and our VLE (Blackboard). Teachers will teach classes on general academic literacy as well as discipline-specific language and discourse, and engage students in a number of STEM-related activities which exploit current Imperial research and involve Imperial researchers. Note that these courses are increasingly managed online with a paperless timetable, online student journals, online assessments and student coaching.
£36,926 – £45,547 plus benefits
6-week course: Mon 12th August – Fri 20th September 2019 (incl tutor induction Thu 8th, Fri 9th Aug)
N.B. Applicants must be available for the entire duration of the course, including induction. College accommodation may be available.
