We are seeking qualified and experienced EAP tutors with a first degree, DELTA (or equivalent) and/or CELTA (or equivalent) plus relevant MA for our BALEAP accredited summer Pre-sessional Academic English and Study Skills programme.
Qualifications:
TEFLQ status as recognised by the British Council, e.g. CELTA or equivalent (essential)
DELTA or equivalent and / or relevant MA (essential)
Course dates:
• Pre-sessional Modules 1-3: Induction from June 13 – 15 2018, with teaching from June 18 – September 7 2018
• General English course + Pre-sessional Modules 2-3: Induction from June 27 – June 29 2018, with teaching from July 2 – September 7 2018
• Pre-sessional Modules 2-3: Induction from July 10 – 12 2018, with teaching from July 16 – September 7 2018
• Pre-sessional Module 3: Induction from August 8 – 10 2018, with teaching from August 13 – September 7 2018
Please note that all tutors must be available for the full period of the course.

£30,688 pro rata (plus a payment after the end of the teaching period in lieu of annual leave of £865.99 for June 13 – September 7 contracts, or £723.06 for June 27 – September 7 contracts, or £596.94 for July 10 – September 7 contracts, or £302.68 for August 8 – September 7 contracts).

Grade 6 Point 8:
£33,518 pro rata (plus a payment after the end of the teaching period in lieu of annual leave of £945.89 for June 13 – September 7 contracts, or £789.74 for June 27 – September 7 contracts or £651.99 for July 10 – September 7 contracts or £330.59 for August 8 – September 7 contracts).
Salaries offered would depend on qualifications and experience. All payments will be subject to tax and NI. Due to the complex nature of the Pre-sessional course we request that applicants do not have any pre-existing leave requirements as this cannot be facilitated.
Limited ensuite, self-catering accommodation at centrally located University of Strathclyde residences is available for Pre-sessional tutors at discounted rates of £65 per week.
