The successful candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit that will allow them to identify and evaluate new opportunities in executive education and to successfully re-develop and re-position our Pre-Master’s Programme. They will have experience of successful programme design, including online delivery, allowing them to lead on identifying and implementing innovative design solutions that align with the strategic priorities of the English Language Centre and College as a whole, achieving a high level of academic quality and financial success. They will be able to identify sector trends and to leverage such trends to ensure that executive education and the postgraduate provision contribute maximally to the strategic objectives of the Centre and the College.
The successful candidate will also have an excellent ability to plan their workload, and will be very comfortable delegating and being delegated to. They will have strong managerial skills, particularly with respect to team leadership, performance management, staff development and ensuring that teaching and assessment measurably build towards the attainment of stated learning outcomes. Additionally, they will view a rounded, high-quality student experience as a key concern, and this concern will inform all aspects of their performance, including team leadership, programme design and day-to-day management.
£40,523 plus £2,623 per annum LWA
