Arden University's award-winning English Language Hub is looking for a dedicated and experienced Lecturer in English for Academic Purposes (EAP) to support our diverse student community (part-time, including evening teaching).
If you are a passionate EAP practitioner with a strong background in designing and delivering English language provision in higher education, we want to hear from you!
In this role, you will:
Deliver engaging EAP and ESAP (English for Specific Academic Purposes) provision, including timetabled and optional classes, one-to-one appointments, and academic English workshops.
Develop and teach tailored EAP/ESAP courses to enhance student success and academic performance.
Support students in building their academic language skills, ensuring high levels of engagement and achievement.
Undertake associated administrative responsibilities, including marking, attendance monitoring, and reporting on student progress.

** Tuesdays and Wednesdays may be based on campus, the third day is flexible to suit the successful candidate. Teaching may often take place online. Candidates must be withing commutable distance of the Arden Manchester campus.
Salary and benefits
Salary: £20,053 - £23,219 per annum (pro-rata amount of £41,220 - £47,728pa)
