The English Language Centre is looking to recruit two fixed-term EAP tutors.
Due to several large projects underway in the department we are in need of additional tutors to teach across the Foundations and Pre-Masters Programmes.
The roles are 0.6 FTE – 3 days a week – and for the whole of semester one in the first instance.
You are likely to have a background in teaching on a variety of EAP programmes and to have experience in original EAP material creation in a variety of media. We are particularly interested in hearing from tutors with a background in teaching on programmes which prepare students for entry into science-based and technology degrees.
You will have a first degree, preferably in the area of TESOL/Applied Linguistics, and preferably will hold Master’s degree and/or DELTA/Trinity TESOL diploma (or equivalent), either completed or near completion.
Reporting to a programme coordinator or module leader, you will be based at the ELC (Strand Campus). However, like all members of the Centre, you may be asked to work on any of the KCL campuses.
Salary: Grade 5, £27,328 – £31,656 per annum plus £2,623 London Weighting Allowance per annum
