Arts University Bournemouth is working in partnership with AECC University College to deliver dedicated Student Services at AECC University College.
We are seeking an individual for maternity cover for the role of English for Academic Purposes (EAP) Lecturer, based at AECC University College.
The successful candidate will be required to support students whose first language is not English. You will make use of a range of academic and language development strategies, and will aid students in the development of study skills.
You will teach and support individuals, small groups and classes, and advise students on their progress, supporting EU and international students in the development of confidence and skills in their academic and language abilities, and independence in their learning.
Candidates will need excellent organisational skills and be able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing. You will also have the ability to work in a team whilst being able to work independently.
You will have appropriate degree and teaching / TEFL qualifications and experience, and a strong awareness of EAP issues and higher education.
