Goldsmiths, University of London’s English Language Centre is seeking to recruit EAP tutors to teach on our 9 and 5 week interdisciplinary pre-sessional programme (Arts and Social Sciences). There may also be follow on work available on our year-long in-sessional programmes.
Teachers should have an interest in contemporary social theory, and be able to teach the academic skills of researched essay writing, critical reading and seminar presentation, based on a range of academic texts and lectures. Materials will be provided, as will support from full-time members of staff.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
• DELTA or equivalent;
• MA Applied Linguistics or related discipline;
• Substantial EAP experience, including in UK higher Education;
• Ability to manage the workload of intensive EAP courses
Salary: Grade 7, SP33 (£38,422 pro rata), this is inclusive of London Allowance and paid holiday time in lieu of annual leave. There is also a paid induction.
