Would you like to lead the management of one of the biggest and best run pre-sessional courses in the UK?

We are looking for an experienced EAP expert to lead the management of our extensive pre-sessional provision. This includes our large pre-sessional summer programme and the provision of academic English within the foundation and pre-masters programmes run by our partner pathway provider. As a member of ELTC executive management team you will be responsible for a team of Academic Directors and will be a key player in the senior management of ELTC.

You will lead and manage a team of Academic Directors designing, developing and delivering pre-sessional provision for students preparing to enter all levels of study at the University, from Foundation to Doctoral, throughout the whole of the calendar year.

You will be an experienced senior manager, with a track record of delivering high quality English for Academic Purposes (EAP) programmes. You will be confident and comfortable working with large scale programmes and managing complex relationships with external partners; you will have an excellent understanding of academic literacy standards, language assessment and quality assurance frameworks for HE. In addition, you will have a detailed knowledge of the legal and regulatory landscape within which higher education institutions operate and particularly in relation to visa and immigration regulations pertaining to international students.

Job Salary & Benefits

Grade 9: £51,630 to £58,089 per annum

Position on the scale will depend on qualifications and experience.
