We are seeking to appoint to the position Director, English Language Centre (ELC). Representing the ELC at a senior strategic level, you will be responsible for the strategic development of the ELC: business plans, setting budgets, staff planning and facilitating opportunities for income generation. You will oversee effective delivery of all ELC activity: teaching, syllabus design, testing, social welfare and quality assurance with a focus on the student experience, staff recruitment, support and development. You will be a highly motivated individual with academic credibility and presence, excellent leadership and team working skills. You will have a demonstrable positive track record in current developments in ELT and HEI-based EAP with significant experience of curriculum design, management and teaching. You will possess commercial acumen and drive with experience of financial planning in the context of a UK HEI planning cycle. You will have substantial experience of internal and external quality assurance processes and be a skilled and experienced line-manager.
