TEd in EAP SIG: Designing CPD With Teachers On Pre-sessionals.

In this free event, Angeliki Apostolidou will present her design of a CPD programme on an intensive pre-sessional course, informed by EAP scholarship on teacher development and dialogic professional learning. It explores how teacher-led forums and discussion circles can create spaces for reflective dialogue, practitioner agency and community-building in high- pressure teaching contexts. Arguing that pre-sessionals can provide not just short-term training but also opportunities for teacher education, the session aims to offer transferable insights for colleagues involved in CPD design, coordination and mentoring in EAP.
