We are very pleased to announce that the BALEAP Conference 2027 will be held at King's College London (KCL). It will take place in the week of 12th April 2027 and the finalised dates will be confirmed as soon as possible. The title for the conference is "From Precarity to Possibility: Community and Creativity in EAP", emphasising an optimistic focus on how EAP can respond creatively to play a leading role in HE in these supercomplex times for universities. The theme is designed to promote new opportunities for the sharing of knowledge and deeper collaboration across our diverse sector in the UK and beyond.

To reflect this aim, BALEAP 2027 will make a refreshing break with tradition, and the conference will take the form of a collaboration between two institutions. King's Foundations KCL will host the conference in Bush House in the Strand, working with colleagues from The Centre for Education and Teaching Innovation (CETI) at University of Westminster as collaborative partner in the organisation and delivery of the conference. The aim is to highlight the benefits of increased collaboration with other teams across our sector.
